P. Bodson, Chairman of the Board

Philippe Bodson is an Independent Director of BeCapital General Partner.

He started his career at McKinsey in Paris, where he worked for three years. He then worked for four years for the Daus Bank in Germany and the USA. In 1977, he started working for Glaverbel, where he was CEO from 1980 until 1989. From 1989 until 1999, he was CEO of Tractebel (Energy division of Suez Group) and Chairman of Electrabel and Distrigaz. From 1999 until 2003, he was a senator in the Belgian Senate for the Mouvement Réformateur (MR). In 2001, he was CEO of Lernout & Hauspie Speech Product (i.e. after the bankruptcy). He was a director at Fortis, Diamant Boart, BarcoNet, Compagnie Immobilière de Belgique, Hermes Asset Management Europe Ltd and BT Belgium. He was the former Chairman of the Fondation pour l’Architecture.

He is currently a member of several other listed or private companies: Exmar, Floridienne and Hamon, where he is Chairman of the Board, AEI (Houston) and Cobepa. He is also member of the advisory committee of CSFB Europa and member of the Secrétariat Polaire.

He graduated as civil engineer at the University of Liège (ULg) and holds a Master of Business Administration from INSEAD.

He is fluent in French, English and Dutch.

J.-M. Crépin, CEO of BeCapital Investment Advisor

Jean-Marc is also a member of the Executive Committee of Cobepa that he joined in 2010. He started his career with KPMG (Paris) in 1992 in the industry & transaction services sectors. In 2000, he joined CVC Capital Partners and became Managing Director of CVC Paris in 2005.

Jean-Marc graduated from the ESCP Europe Business School in Paris and holds a chartered accountant DESCF diploma.

He is non-executive director of Carrières du Hainaut, Novescia, Pavatex, Verdesis and Goëmar and President of the Board of TechnoMarine Genève watches.

Jean-Marc is fluent in French, English and Spanish.

S. Erdem

Started working in the shipping industry in 1981 before launching Merit Gemicilik in 1989 that became the representative for Maersk Line in Turkey in 1993. Also acts as Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Moonen Yachts Holding, a leading yacht manufacturer

H. Ferreira, Deputy GM

Hugo Ferreira is a Director of BeCapital General Partner nominated by CTBR. He joined CTBR in 1991 as Deputy General Manager. Since then he developed the activities of the company in Risk Management, Corporate Finance and Institutional Portfolio Management for the Private and Public Sectors. He is the initiator of its activity in the environmental sector.

He has extensive experience in finance (finance director, treasurer, structuring loan department, corporate finance), working for well-known institutions such as Nestlé (Switzerland and the USA), Citicorp Investment Bank (New York), as well as the Group Tradition, where he was acting as the Finance Director of the group’s bank.

Hugo is frequently invited to participate to conferences on financial topics as well as environmental issues. He is a Board member of Cobepa and the Polaris Center (International Polar Foundation) and a former Board member of CBOE Currency option advisory board.

He is a commercial engineer from the Solvay School (Université Libre de Bruxelles) and holds a MBA from Columbia University (New York).

He is fluent in French, Portuguese and English.

J.-M. Laurent Josi, Managing Director

Jean-Marie Laurent Josi is a Director of BeCapital General Partner nominated by Cobepa. He is Managing Director of Cobepa and non-executive director of Zetes, Belron, Sapec, Carmeuse, JF Hillebrand, Bank Degroof, International SOS, Groupe Josi, PQ Licensing, Verlinvest and Elia.

He started his career with Cobepa in 1988, developing the M&A activities, and was responsible as member of the Management Board for Cobepa's investments. He was a partner of PAI Partners and non-executive director of Mobistar and GIB Group.

He has a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Solvay Business School (magna cum laude) and graduated from the Fiskale Hoge School.

He is fluent in French, English and Dutch.

O. Lippens

Olivier Lippens is the Managing Director of Finasucre and its subsidiaries, Groupe Sucrier and Iscal Sugar. He is also a director of Unibra, Galeries Saint Hubert, the SBS fund and is a member of the SBS Advisory Board.

Olivier Lippens is active in the Food and Sugar industry bodies at Belgian and European levels.

Before joining Finasucre in 1981, he worked for Coopers and Lybrand.

He is a commercial engineer from the Solvay Brussels School (ULB).

He is fluent in French, English and Dutch.

He is a director of several listed and private companies including Fountain, Compagnie Het Zoute and Compagnie Optorg.

He started his career in 1976 in the banking sector working for Banque Indosuez then Banque Degroof in the Far East, the Middle East and in Europe.

He is a commercial engineer from the Solvay Brussels School (ULB).

He is fluent in French, English and Dutch.

M. Rouer, Chairman

Maximilien is the inventor and a promoter of the Positive Economy™ concept. Since 2000, he advised more than 500 company directors and key executives on the theme of the environment as a new opportunity for growth, in particular at the APM (Association for Progress in Management).

He is a scientific, technical and economic expert on all environmental issues (climate change, energy, resources, biodiversity and toxicity).

In 2003, he was appointed as an expert to the Conseil National du Développement Durable by the French Prime Minister Jean Pierre Raffarin. In 2008, he was appointed as an expert to the Conseil Général de l’Environnement et du Développement Durable by the French Minister of Ecology Jean-Louis Borloo. He provides his expertise in parliamentary days and gives lectures to the Chamber of Industry and Trade, OECD and IDDRI (French Institute for Sustainable Development and International Relations).

Maximilien holds a MSc in Life Sciences and Engineering of AgroParisTech (formerly Institut National Agronomique de Paris-Grignon) and in cellular biology and plant physiology (Paris VII University).
